October 13, 2008 - Diba Industries will showcase fluid handling components for IVD and scientific instrument manufacturers during ComPaMED/MEDICA 2008, November 19-21, in Dusseldorf Germany.  The highlight of the company’s exhibit at stand 8BD02 will be its Click-N-Seal family of connection fittings, now available in flared, ferrule and PEEK styles. 

To prevent the poor fluid connections and leaks that come from over tightening fittings, Diba’s Click-N-Seal provides objective feedback that the required torque for a proper seal has been achieved.  During tightening, the reusable Click-N-Seal connection clicks when the correct torque is reached, providing audible and tactile confirmation that the fitting is correctly torqued and physically preventing further tightening.

When paired with Diba’s Flared Tubing Assemblies, the Click-N-Seal flared fittings produce a consistent fluid path and internal tubing diameter in any type of fluid line, eliminating leaks, dead volumes and carryover problems.

In ferrule-type fittings, the Click-N-Seal prevents the over-torquing that can compress tubing, minimizing the fluid flow problems inherent in ferrule fittings.  Diba’s ferrule fittings are designed for use with Bio-Chem Fluidics Omnifit Gripper, Type S and inverted cone ferrules. 

For corrosive or high temperature applications, the Ultra line of fittings provide a durable and thermally stable fluid connection.  Manufactured from Polyaryletheretherketone (PEEK) plastic, the Ultra fittings are chemically resistant and able function at high temperatures and pressures up to 15,000 psi.

Diba also offers a complete line of aspirate/dispense, piercing, level sensing, vented, fluoropolymer coated and fluoropolymer lined reagent and sample transfer probes.

Click-N-Seal Connections, Flared Tubing Assemblies, and probe materials and configurations are custom fit to instrument manufacturer’s specifications.
