March 19, 2009 - To manage the companys growing manufacturing business, Diba Industries, Inc. has appointed Z Willie Michaely Vice President of Operations.

In his new role, Michaely will oversee all facets of Diba’s manufacturing process, from purchasing and production, to logistics.  He will help guide the strategic growth of the fluid handling components company with the implementation of training programs, quality management initiatives, value-added purchasing and Lean Manufacturing.

Michaely served most recently as Technical Director for UECA, a division of General Electric which produces precision machined components for the jet engine and power generation markets.  Over the course of his career, he has held Vice President of Operations positions with a number of automotive components manufacturing operations throughout the United States and Canada.  A Canadian registered Professional Engineer, Michaely holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute (Bucharest, Romania).
